For the graduation exhibition (MA) I built the installation ‘Object Mori’. Within this work, I explored audience participation and the symbolism of a ‘home altar’. My focus was primarily on the role of objects left behind when someone has passed away. On the last day of the exhibition, I concluded the work with a performance called ‘Memento Object’ in which I ritually cleared the space of all the objects and bit it a final farewell. The exhibition was curated by Trudy Hekman and took place at the former office of the NS (national train company) in the last week of June.

Voor de afstudeerexpositie (MA) bouwde ik de installatie ‘Object Mori’ waar ik speelde met publieksparticipatie en de symboliek van een ‘thuis altaar’. Mijn focus lag met name op de rol van de spullen die achterblijven wanneer iemand er niet meer is. Op de laatste dag van de expositie sloot ik het werk af met een performance ‘Memento Object’ waarin ik als ritueel de ruimte ontdeed van spullen en een laatste afscheid gaf. De expositie werd gecureerd door Trudy Hekman en vond plaats in de laatste week van Juni in Utrecht op het voormalige NS-kantoor.
