AIR SIEL FAN SÚDWEST
From March 1 until March 15, I was invited to go on residency in the small city Hindeloopen for the project ‘Siel Fan Súdwest’ by Museum Zuidwest Friesland. The website from this project is now live: https://www.museumzuidwestfriesland.com/soul-of-southwest
‘Does something like the Siel fan Súdwest exist? Nine artists embark on a search for the soul of this region. Over two weeks, they immerse themselves in the stories, people, and landscapes of Súdwest-Fryslân. The result? Nine unique artworks spanning various disciplines – from textile and video art to photography and installations. These works will be on display from May 17 to August 24, 2025, in and around the nine museums.
Siel fan Súdwest is a project by Stichting Samenwerking Musea Zuidwest Friesland and is part of Arcadia, the triennial cultural event that continues the legacy of Leeuwarden, European Capital of Culture (LF2018)’.

From February 22 until March 30, my work ‘Het grote niets’ will be showcased in the front window of gallery De Vishal in Haarlem. Opening will be on February 21.
